Alexander Maxwell, Austin Evans and Melissa Garrett won a Gold prize for their “Near Field” interactive poster for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences from the American Advertising Award student competition in Des Moines. The poster was a project in the Computational Communication: Creative Advertising course offered in Spring 2015. The course was created by Greenlee's Jay Newell, Greenlee’s Sherry Berghefer and Computer Science’s Wallapak Tavanapong. The course is part of several education initiatives supported by LAS Signature Research Initiative.
